Marissa “Ringo” Bosley earned their Juris Doctorate from The Southern University Law Center, where they graduated with honors and completed the law center’s Public Law Certificate.

Prior to working for TLG, they served as a Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service of Texas for over two years, where they honed their skills in negotiations, complex litigation, and legal drafting for public defense.

Ringo has over seven years of experience in research and drafting policy recommendations in various areas across various different internships and leadership positions. Their dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others extends beyond their professional endeavors, where Ringo has volunteered time to co-direct a short documentary on criminal justice reform, lead multiple grassroots movements, and helped change law in the state of Louisiana.
